David Maroni is a film recordist and sound designer based in New York. With a familial background in the New York music industry, he began his pursuits writing music on the living-room piano and producing it on a. state-of-the-art budget laptop. This veered into a passion for film score and sound design. Maroni graduated from the Zaki Gordon Center for Cinematic Arts in 2026 after working production sound on a feature film, as well as crafting the musical score and sound design for several shorts. He mainly operates in location sound, studio recording, sound design, and postproduction mixing for various media types.
